Thurnderstorms/ flooding

Well the weather is a little crazy. It was rainy all day yesterday and this morning was sunny but wow did we just get a thunderstorm. We had good size hail as well and the end of our street is starting to flood. Have a look at some of the pictures.

Alexander's Baby Blessing June 22, 2008

Alexander had his baby blessing today. Stephen gave the blessing and was accompanied by The Bishop Franklin, and brothers Spencer, Harris, and Carrol. We decided that even though Alexander was 3 years old, we did not want him to miss out in the opportunity to have the blessing ordinance. Alexander was such a good boy during the blessing. It is always amazing to me how the spirit of the lord can calm even the most active of children.

well this week has been very hot and we have been creative in how we stay cool. we purchased a very small pool for Alexander to splash in and I put it on the deck. It keep cleaner than if it was in the yard and so does Alexander's feet. today I left Alexander outside with the door to the deck open so I can keep and eye on him and he ran of the deck and across the driveway to the neighbors. To their surprise they say my sweet child peering in on them through the screen door saying hello. The neighbor kindly walked Alexander back home and we had a good laugh. My little peeping tom.

Summer heat - today 100 degrees

Okay today is day 4 of being in the nineties outside. It is so hot. I am glad that we put the A/c in the bedroom upstairs last week. It makes sleeping comfortable. For a small a/c unit it does a great job, it nicely cools down the upstairs and keeps it not so sweltering down stairs. We also put many of Alexander and Zachary's toys in the basement, and it is always cool down there. This week I hope to let the kids play outside in a small baby pool but today it just too hot!!! Hope everyone else is staying cool. - Tina

Weekend bike riding June 8, 2008

Check out Alexander riding his bike outside. He is getting so good. Thanks auntie Cherilyn for getting him his bike for his birthday. He really loves it and he looks handsome in his Thomas the Tank engine helmet and pads.

Zachary 1st time in jumperoo

Zachary loved his first time in the jumperoo. He loved sitting there watching Alexander riding his bike in the basement. He was even getting the hang of kicking his feet off the floor.

It is rainy outside today so Alexander decided to ride his bike inside. Isn't he cute. What a big boy.
